Treat yourself to the freshest vegetables in town while supporting your local economy!
What is a CSA?
Members buy shares before the growing season starts. This helps us farmers with necessary tools and supplies (like seeds, tools and compost.) In exchange, members reap the benefits of enjoying the freshest produce all season long. CSA refers to Community Supported Agriculture. Our members purchase a CSA at the beginning of the season to ensure the freshest vegetables all season long.
The shares are spread across the season and fluctuate in abundance based on what’s available. Some weeks are more plentiful than others. As the season progresses, so does our production and you can expect to see the harvests grow richer with it. A CSA is a true immersion into the benefits and risks of farming, and are an important partnership that enables us to provide you with healthy, locally grown produce.
How it works
Our CSA runs from May - October
Each week they have free choice of available vegetables that week with pick up at the farm.
It is 100% free choice but if you would like a set box, that is also possible. If you have to miss a week, that is okay, you will not miss out on vegetables. The set amount on your card will stay there and you can use it another weeks.
By becoming a member of our CSA share card program, you will receive an added 5% to your total value. (in addition to the NSLoyal 10%)
It will run from May 22nd - October 31st 2026.
There are four different options:
Standard share $350(+$15 bonus) - This great for small family or home gardener.
Family share $700(+$35 bonus) - Veggie loving family.
Large share $950(+50 bonus) - Perfect for large family.
You always have the option of topping your card up if you run low.
Where and when can I pick up?
The CSA season will run from May 22nd to October 31th, 2026. During this time, pick up will be every Friday from 2:00-6:00pm. Pick up will be at the farm. 4866 Highway 7, Antigonish (5mins from town).
If you can not make it on Friday, you can also pick up your vegetables on Saturday from 8:30-1pm at the Antigonish Farmer's Market.
If you are away some weeks, it's totally okay. You can just skip that week and pick up vegetables the next time. Also, if you still have lots of vegetables left over from the previous week, you can take less some weeks. Or, for example, if you are having a dinner party and need more, you are welcome to do that as well. If you still have money left on your card at the end of the season, you can use your card at the farm stand or at the Antigonish Farmer's Market. We will be at the Antigonish Farmer's Market until end of season.
